Hola chicas! As promised more details about the amazing event I attended on Thursday, April 12 - Simon Fashion Now presented by Cadillac. I was fortunate enough to be one of the Houston fashion bloggers invited by Houston Cadillac to attend the invite only event!
Simon Fashion Now is a showcase of spring’s hottest trends which can all be purchased straight from the runway as all items are available in stores now. The show featured looks from Saks Fifth Avenue, MaxMara, St. John, CH Carolina Herrara, Jimmy Choo, Giorgio Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Neiman Marcus.
So let’s start with the arrival, shall we? A group of Houston fashion bloggers rode in style and pulled up to The Galleria in the 2012 Escalade! Thanks to fellow blogger Shalanda Turner of Live Life in Style for letting me ride shotgun 
Talk about the ‘Cadillac Experience’ and the perfect way to start an evening of pure luxury.

After making the grand entrance in the gorgeous Cadillac, there was walking the ‘spring’ carpet and the all important event photo opt.

Once inside the exclusive event we sipped yummy cocktails, nibbled on bites from Gigi’s Asian Bistro, chatted with some of Houston’s most fashionable and joined fellow Houston fashion bloggers Lynne Gabriel and Monica J.

Prior to the show we had the pleasure of chatting with the mastermind behind Simon Fashion Now, Jacque Ellis, the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Special Events for Corporate Marketing at Simon Property Group. The event started back in 2008 and Jacque mentioned how she loves to travel from region to region and see how customers are embracing the latest trends. One item could be a huge seller in Houston and a complete ‘miss’ in the San Diego market. She also gave the wonderful advice that all trends are NOT for everyone! (such true words)
