Weekend Recap Fashion Edition Pt 4

Hola chicas! Finishing up my weekend recap with the Art in the Park event where I visited Lauren Luna and that evening I attended the Duo in-store spring fashion show.

Lauren had a display at Art in the Park where she showcased her wonderful paintings and hosted a giveaway for one of her masterpieces.  Lauren not only does amazing paintings she also designs custom shoes and will have shoes available in local Houston boutiques very soon!  I’m very happy for Lauren such a sweet, talented lady and I wish her all the success in the world.

From art by day to fashion at night I attended an in-store fashion show for one of my favorite boutiques.  Duo is trendy clothing boutique located in Houston and they carry great pieces for men and women.  Check out my look I wore for the Duo spring fashion show.

Shirt/jeans - Urban Outfitters, Clutch - Forever 21, Necklace/Cuff - ShoeDazzle, Flats - Abbey Dawn for JustFab

For this look I opted for to use staples – white button up, colored jeans and a statement necklace.  I used key pieces to create a trendy chic look so if don’t have a pair of colored jeans and a classic solid button up RUN and get these pieces.  I was almost running on ‘empty’ so flats were a must and I’m in case you didn’t notice I’m in love with this clutch!

I was joined by my buddy and fellow blogger Niki of NW Style Co - always good times when we get together. I *heart* her!
