Hola chicas hope you had a wonderful weekend! I was a busy little bee again bouncing to a trunk show, meeting with friends and watching some sports – NBA playoffs and a boxing match. I don’t write much very often but just wanted to share a little with you after some pics were posted from my gym on facebook and generated a lot of comments from both friends and strangers.
I refer to myself as a ‘tomboy diva’ thanks to a wonderful friend that coined the phrase but what is a tomboy diva?!? Well after a quick google search the ‘official’ definitions are: tomboy is defined as a girl who exhibits characteristics or behaviors considered typical of the gender role of a boy. Diva is defined as a person who exudes great style and personality with confidence and expresses their own style. So naturally a tomboy diva is a girl who is fanatical about sports, can catch a game with the fellas, works out like a guy (from P90X to insanity to crossfit I’ve done them all and the more intense the better) , and loves fast cars all while loving to shop, putting together in home fashion shows to style looks and enjoys being pampered. I’m not a girly girl - never had been and never will be but I appreciate the balance within my interests and personality. I have been told a few times I’m almost unrecognizable between my gym look and everyday appearance. Just makes me laugh and simply reiterates I’m truly a ‘tomboy diva’ and I couldn’t be happier!

Sweating like a pig and moving heavy weight or shopping for deals while being on trend…I’m comfortable either way. Check out the look I wore to the Last Call opening preview last week – I made the facebook page for the local social and fashion media, Houston Tidbits….yay!
