Hola chicas! Summer is officially here in Houston and that means the return of the heat and humidity. The temperatures are well into the 90′s accompanied with the increasing humidity leaving us all feeling ‘hot and sticky’ and while we all would love to live in shorts, sheer pieces, and tanks we still have to go the office. So how’s a girl to dress corporate chic and beat the heat?
Jumpsuits and maxi dresses are an easy, effortless way to get dressed in one step and stay comfortable in the rising temps. Throw on a pair of heels, wedges or sandals with a statement necklace to complete the look.
Feminine skirts, tailored light weight trousers and blouses are essential pieces for the summer work wardrobe. Pair with fun flats or pumps to complete the ensemble.
And of course since the air conditioning is usually blasting at the office a blazer or cardigan is necessary to stay warm.
