Today the lovely Monica of Le Chic World has taken over the blog and you are in for a treat.
Hi my name is Monica and I’m the girl behind the blog Le Chic World. I thought I’d take over just for the day while Val jetsets overseas to one of my most favorite parts of the world. Val is one of the sweetest girls you will ever meet. I remember even the first time we met thinking to myself “this girl has amazing style”, and so, naturally when she asked me a guest on her blog, I was over the moon!
A little about me, my blog came about as an outlet of sharing my love of travel and adventures abroad which soon evolved in to a more style journal. And so I thought I would share a few of my favorite summer vacation styles to hopefully inspire the rest of us as we daydream of Mediterranean island getaways. In the meantime, I will be vicariously living through Val, as I can’t wait to hear all about her amazing adventures.
London style: Think Kate Middleton, prim and proper. This famous Pom always looks so ladylike and with her immaculate style, so well put together. Ger mix of modern royalty and preppy polo looks has got her to be the talk of the tabloids as well as top of the celebrity sisters. On a trip to the City of the Big Ben, I also fell in love with the eclectic and individuality of the London style. Think a miss mash of fur and leather mixed with loud accessories such as Fedora hats and Indie-style boots.
Nautical chic: Think the turquoise blue of the Mediterranean Sea. On a trip a few years back, after a three-month adventure I fell in love with this part of the world. The iconic islands of Greece, to the scenic Cliffside’s of Nice and Croatia, it’s the idyllic scene for a girl who is wild, carefree bohemian chic. These are some of my style crushes that reflect this perfect beach mood.
