I WORK It

Hola chicas!  My 9-5 is full of technical jargon and meetings but most days my highlight is waking up and putting together a cute yet corporate appropriate look.  A little Mardi Gras inspiration in the colors make the meetings pass a little quicker.

Black blazer, white trousers and my ‘tie’; what’s not to love about this office look?

This is one of the few times I wear ‘yellow’ gold…I like to have my yellow anywhere else.  Just a personal preference but love the bangles with this look.

A blazer is simply a requirement for two reasons – 1) it is always FREEZING in the office and 2) arms have been deemed to risqué for years in the corporate world

My coworker mentioned she was staring at my earrings non-stop during a meeting…guess I made the time pass a little quicker for her as well.

Pop of purple with the shoe, a little colorblocking action and Mardi Gras inspiration for my overall work look. It certainly made me day just a little bit brighter – work appropriate but still true to my style with the subtle incorporation of trends and mix with classic pieces.
