Hola chicas hope you all had a great weekend and I’ve only got a 2 day work week 
! I’m such a lucky girl thanks to the 4th of July being on a Wednesday so I’m super excited for my LONG break. Anywoo I won tickets to the Houston Press Web Awards last Thursday so I was more than happy to grab a few of my friends and check out the event. The event was at the House of Dereon - yep the entertainment center owned by Beyonce and fam – we sipped yummy drinks, ate cupcakes and played in a photo-booth while waiting for the event to start.

I had NO idea what to expect at the event and even after attending I’m still not sure lol but had good times with the girls so that’s all that counts right! Categories ranged from Best Twitterer to Best Food Blog and others between like Best Hashtag & Tweet of the Year but the event was clearly lacking a Best Fashion Blog category – hmmmm perhaps an opportunity

Best dressed of the night by far – tux, shorts, rainbow socks and metallic sneakers – got to love the creativity.
For my look I kept things casual and I people still ask about this necklace I got years ago from ShoeDazzle looks like I picked a winner.
