Coral & Kiss of Mint

Hola chicas!  Happy hump day and this week I’m taking part in a style challenge by Pretty Shiny Sparkly to wear mint & coral.  I like finding challenges by other bloggers to push my personal style & keep things fun.  I’ve got plenty of coral but mint isn’t my thing as I’m not a fan of ANY pastels – I love jewel tones, brights and even neutrals…pastels not so much!

So I searched my closet and decided to wear a coral tank dress but quickly realized I was lacking on the mint options.  One of my big rules with incorporating trends especially ones you don’t love 100% is to purchase an accessory item like jewelry or a clutch.  I paired my dress with a mint necklace and clutch and added other tones like turquoise to complete the look.

Dress – Langford Market, Shoes – Zara, Necklaces & Clutch – H&M, Belt – Forever21

Of course wearing my shoes of the summer – Zara basic sandal! Love them & all the colors.

Coral & Mint BDIB

What do think of my look and how would you wear coral & mint?  I would love to hear from you and thanks for stopping by.

My first giveaway will be announced tomorrow!

PS I’m linking up my shoes to Simply Sarah & my look to Rolled Up Pretty!

  4. I really like how you incorporated small touches of mint – I totally agree with adding small touches of trends you’re not 100% into (I’m in love with mint, but I only added a few tiny neon pieces this spring). The shoes are fabulous – I tried on the exact same ones at Zara but sadly they didn’t work for me – weird fit or something. They are totally gorgeous though!

Thanks Laura just a kiss is the right amount sometimes. Crazy thing is I have the Zara shoes in different colors but same size & all do fit a bit different…
